Bike for Life

Bike for Life: €12000, 3100 bike rides and 29000 km for safe traffic!

352 participants and 8 companies cycled for 1 month with their hearts for "Parents of Young Traffic Victions - SAVE"! The cycled amount of €6,000 was doubled by Bosch eBike Systems to €12,000.

Our peloton of warm-hearted cyclists cycled 3,100 sponsored rides, good for 29,000 cycling km and an amount of €6.000. Main sponsor Bosch eBikes Systems doubled this amount to the nice sum of €12,000. Road safety is a priority for the largest and best-known manufacturer of electric bicycle drives.

"Parents of Young Traffic Victions - SAVE" is a non-profit organization that encourages cities and municipalities to invest in road safety, especially in places where children and young people participate in traffic. They confirm this commitment with "SAVE charters". With this sum, a campaign can be launched in which parents of traffic victims can speak out for more road safety.

Eight employers gave their employees an extra boost with a sponsorship amount per ride: the Province of West Flanders, the City of Sint-Niklaas, Indaver, BASF Innovation Center Ghent, BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, RIHO Police Zone, Traject Mobility Management and Haenen Ellen BVBA.

Three companies cycled during Bike for Life for their own good cause:
• Sanofi cycled for Muscle Diseases Flanders
• Uitgeverij Van In cycled for the Diabetes Liga
• the Municipality of Zandhoven cycled for Boven de Wolken vzw.

Thanks to all participants for cycling with their hearts, to main sponsor Bosch eBike Systems and to campaign partners VOKA Vlaams-Brabant, UNIZO, Slim naar Antwerpen, Provincie West- Vlaanderen, de Vereniging van Steden en Gemeenten and Bike for Brussels.
