Bosch eBike Systems gives Bike for Life 2024 a leg up
No fewer than 392,000 families do not have a bicycle at home. Cycling to school, shopping, going to school, training, to work, visiting family, going to your hobby or sports club, ... A large group of people, both young and old, hardly get around because of financial, physical or mental barriers. Thus, they miss opportunities for education, work and social contacts.
Bike for Life invites all cyclists to get moving together against transport poverty in the largest peloton in Flanders. Bosch eBike Systems, the well-known manufacturer of e-bike motors, supports the Bike for Life campaign of the Fietsersbond with conviction.
A Bike for All
Bike for Life invites all cyclists to sponsor their rides in October with their own amount or an amount via their employer, friends, family or colleagues. The proceeds will go to 'A Bike for All', which provides financial support and guidance to volunteers who help people in their neighbourhood, community or city to cycle.
Vineeta Diels, Marketing Communication Manager Bosch eBike Systems Benelux: "We are proud to support Bike for Life and 'A Bike for All'. By motivating companies, schools, cities and organisations to take the bike for daily commuting, together we raise money to make cycling and e-bikes possible for vulnerable people in our society. Cycling gives them more freedom of movement, opportunities and social contacts."
